Description
This private walking tour takes you back to the age of Socrates, Pericles, Themistocles, Aristides, Kimon and so many other important figures.
We are going to go up the southeastern side of the Acropolis.
On our way, we are going to see the Theatre of Dionysus, the Herod Attica Conservatory and stand on the foot of the hill of Filopappos, where, among other things, Socrates is believed to have been imprisoned.
After that, we are going to head towards the hill of Pnyka, the place where the meetings of the assembly of the city were held.
As the temple of Hephaestus gradually appears before us, we are going down to the street to the Ancient Agora, a place which is closely connected to the whore array of public and political life in Ancient Athens as well as to education and philosophy.
Our walking tour is going to end with a visit to the museum that is housed in the Attalos Colonade, where we are going to see unique exhibits and objects from the everyday life of the Athenians.
